Getting Organized

Ever made a purchase and thought "this is it, this is the thing that will show I've got my sh*t together." Well... me neither. Lol. Not for lack of trying tho. First it was the drawer organizers that finally got the 'junk' and bathroom drawers sorted out. Then it was "re-organizing." Now it's getting more shelves, a bed we can both sleep in, and a solution to the shoes in the bottom of the closet. 

Hubbs can even have a few slots! 

The initial clean when we thought we were getting the bed on Friday.

Weekend on the floor. Poor Ace lost his hidey hole.

Bed has ARRIVED! And yes, we mean to have the blanket cover the bottom cuz Ace needs his hidey hole. First night=no back/hip pain!

TV stand with SO MANY STUFFIES. One, so that stuffies have a spot. Two, so they block Ace from climbing on shelves. And three, they also cover up the wires to the TV and the outlet, so mister chews on wires can't get to them! New TV is scheduled to be delivered on Friday, which is also when A should be here to get the old bed (which is hanging out in the dining room, atm, and Ace thinks it's his new toy).

New TV looks good. 

I'm exceedingly grateful that my job can allow me to work from home some days because I couldn't bring myself to try and reschedule the bed delivery AGAIN. Hubby took a half day... which I thought was unnecessary, but he worries. Goober. That did allow us to have a nice lunch together, tho. Korean fried chicken, roasted veg and rice. 😁 Then we went to Home Depot and aldi for stuffs. It was a nice day. Hubby took a great nap when we got home. He approves of the bed. As do I. No motion transfer when one of us moves. 

In other news, I still have a cough. Stupid mucus. Texas is on fire, so it does make sense. 

Hubbs is gonna buy us a curio cabinet, and I'm getting a different bedside table. I feel like we just decided to upgrade the whole apartment! Just in time for some company, too. Hehe. 

The plants have gone NUTS! So much basil!!.

We are sooooo ready for some cooler weather... tho that probably won't happen for another week or 2. Hope you're all doing well, much love!
