Seoul Shenanigans

So this weekend was a boozy, crazy fun time!  We went from Dongtan to a new area of Seoul around one of the universities.  I want to say it's called Hungdae or something like that.  The Air BnB had a code to get into the building, a code to get on the right floor, a code to get in the door, and a code to GET IN THE BEDROOM!!  I figure that's a bit much, considering the bathroom was communal... I mean, you don't trust the people you're with to sleep without locking the door, but walking half nekke across the communal area to get to your room is ok??  Either way, it was a good time.
Look Ana, it's on the rocks!!!  And yes, I had 4 of these babies!!  SOOOO GOOOD!!!  This was the Classic... I've been told next time I need to get the Signature - according to the waitress, it's better.
Chicken fajita burrito bowl... SOOO GOOD as well!
J, T, A and D being silly... his drink is a something blue,, which was interesting to say the least.
They so silly, but so fun

J and I - yep, I'm still letting the metal flag fly ;)
 Fun with hair
D and M - M doesn't seem to be much of one for pix, so you gotta be sneaky.
The sign... I didn't get a pic of the ice cream cake - it was from Baskin Robins and was AMAZING
I don't know if you can tell, but A did some eye makeup for me here... yep, that's my 'clubbing' outfit - black jeans, grey tank top, grey and black flannel.
At the chicken place - the Soju and Cass flowed, the chicken was consumed.
The guy standing is E, the guy on the left is G, his girlfriend is beside him, and then B - who was from Croatia.  E is from South Africa, I think... T is behind E and J is on the other side of him.
J looking cute as a friggin' button!!
The chicken... this was the spicier one
The other bit of chicken... it's official - Korea knows how to do fried friggin' chicken!!!
 T and J
 More silliness
S is also from South Africa... I told you M isn't into pix!!!
No clue what is going on here, but fun is being had and that's what is important!
This is toward the end of the evening... shortly after this they all went for McDonalds and I went home... apparently that was the cause of some concern because they didn't know that I had the codes and the instincts of a homing pigeon.  So I get back to the Air BnB, took a shower and went to bed.  They come in, look in my room, and go 'SHE'S ALIVE!'  I was told later that their most pressing concern was that they'd have to grade my writing notebooks!!!  Hehehe
The day after, waiting for the taco place to open.
 I just love this pic...
Buffalo fries - no buffalo sauce involved.  SO GOOD
My carnitas verdes 'wet' burrito - apparently this is what a smothered burrito looks like here.  Can I just tell you that the flavor was OUT OF THIS WORLD!
Waiting for the bus back to Dongtan
We were tired... stupid 11am check out times.

All in all, it was a great weekend full of great people.  And I found myself taking care of 2 drunk Korean women until their friends could come and take them home.  I think the friend of one of them gave me 10,000 won for my assistance.  Drunkenness is universal.  I still don't do well in crowds, so I stayed outside for a lot of the evening, which was fun.  I had one guy tell me he fell in love with me at first sight and he even tried to use the 'did it hurt' line.  No wedding bells will be ringing, no worries.  Not having a phone is pretty helpful when avoiding giving out my info ;)

Here's to a slow week - look for another post on Wed or Thurs to backtrack some of the other foods I've had and how we get thru the week.  I think I'll be having a weekend in Dongtan this weekend.
