Well, I got a lot of compliments on my haircut today... so short or no, I guess it looks good! I did have to laugh at E when he saw me - told me he could have cut my hair. While that may be so (I'm skeptical), I like going to see J. I like the wash, the scalp massage, and the convo. It was nice to hear that it looks good, tho. I was thrown off Monday AM because they unplugged my computer over the break and it took me a little too long to find the plugs.
On Tues J and I went to brunch at a beautiful little place. I love that they have a 'dreamer's library.' It was awesome.Such a cute place.
J waiting on her food.
I also got myself a new friend at work.
A long beach iced tea that I had with S - it was good, but way too sweet and my poor stummy was NOT happy. The long beach is different from the long island cuz they use cranberry juice instead of coke. Kinda tasted like a strawberry lemonade to me.
Cute skelly says "Hello"- the desk staff decorated for Halloween this week.
So I guess I should update you on E - I was able to see him on Saturday. I also gave him my metro card so that he'll be able to get around without having to resort to a taxi all the time. We had fun and he's planning on coming to see me again this weekend. I need to take him shopping for cooking utensils. I figured out another thing about modern dating that bothers me - messaging. I don't know the rules! I was seeing one guy who got butt-hurt if he felt he was messaging first too often, then I've been told that you're supposed to wait to follow up after a date... it's too confusing! I've decided to go with my instinct and not to go down the mental rabbit hole. Talking with E this weekend was fun. He's snarky and sweet. I like this one... we've decided to keep each other around for a bit.
Otherwise we had to go back to online teaching as of Tues because there was a confirmed case of the 'rona at one of the schools. So we'll see when we'll be able to have the kids back in class again. It does mean that we've put off getting the kinders back, so that's kinds nice for me. I like the little ones, they are cute, but I'm not 100% cut out for teaching the rascals.
So there's a small update. I love and miss you all - MUAH!
