Playing Tourist

This weekend I was house/schnauzer sitting so my fella (unprompted, btw) decided he would get a hotel and come spend the weekend with me. We had a very nice time wandering the square, trying foods, and doing just a little shopping. We also watched some truly BAD shark movies (cruel jaws and... Noah's shark. DONT watch either of them. Lol) and got stomped on by the puppers.

it was the first annual paluxy river fest this weekend! At least 2 friends saw me on the square and I ran into one of a and i's fav waiters from Rio mambo in weatherford (an hour away)!

It was another really nice weekend with my fella. Things are going really well on that front, in case people are wondering. By the end of June I think we'll have met most of each other's friends, and we plan on meeting family too. I did get to see my older sis as well, which was nice. As always I got more pix of her puppy than I did of her. (She didn't get to meet the fella cuz he works on Sundays now.)

So yeah, that was the weekend. On another note, things are going SO well with the fella that it's kinda freaking me out. I'm noticing my self-destructive tendency to try to end it before the point of no return... which honestly was probably last month sometime. I'm pretty crazy about this one, and he seems to be pretty crazy about me. Not going to jinx it just because I'm used to being alone. No sabotage unless we're listening to the Bestie Boys!! Lol. It is really nice to be with someone who does all the things I wanted of a partner. No leaving me to wonder, he communicates! And shows up! And follows thru! Incredible! It's not a fairy tale, it CAN happen! There's just a LOT of mud to slog thru... no wonder so many people get bogged down in the dating mud.

In other news, work goes well. June and July are gonna be CRAZY busy, so posts may be a bit sporadic. I've caved and turned on my A/C to see if having the windows shut will help with allergies. Stupid TX trying to kill me... sigh. Bye bye $30 electric bill. Gas is coming down tho, so that's nice. Hope all is well with you too, my lovely reader!! MUAH! 😘 Let's rock the casbah!! Hehe
