Back in WY

The trip up to Amarillo was uneventful until I got around Lubbock. Then the sky was filled with lightning, the air was full of sand and other stuff, and it was quiet. Like, until the rain actually happened, I heard NO thunder, just saw the lightning in the sky. It was like in Solo: a star wars story when they are in the maelstrom and see the big empirial ship. SUCH an amazing light show. That kept me awake into Amarillo, and I got to my hotel around 1130 pm. Got checked in, went to sleep, got up the next day and finished the trip.

Been enjoying time with family and friends (tho I do miss my fella), and the WEATHER!!! OMG- AMAZING!!! Sunshine, cool breeze, just (chefs kiss) amazing.
