Unexpected pup visit

This week there was a conference in TX for rural hospital, so our CNO was out of town. Monday she came to my office to ask if I could take care of her pups. This means my commute goes from 45 mins per day to just 15, so of course I said YES! I did check with hubby, who said he'd miss me, but was happy I'd be home soon (may is a different story, but such is life). So I went out to K's house on tue after work to see what the situation was, then ended up going to our new gym to get my sweat on. The pups are very loving and one is lazy while the other is energetic.
Tho both want to be on my lap. I had brought my kindle, so I finished reading "the invisible man." Wednesdays workout was at the house using k's kettle bell. 😁

Thursday I headed back home. Instead of going to the gym, I unpacked, emptied the dishwasher, went to holy Thursday mass, and hit up adoration after. I also treated myself to a taco casa super burrito, and got my hubbs a combo burrito. Then I came home and played with the kitty!
He might have missed me.
Ace hugs
Sacked out kitty during Good Friday lazy times.

Friday hubbs and I went to HEB for Holy Saturday snackies. We got food from mister poke, which is a GREAT build your own poke bowl place. They also had miso soup, so I got some of that, too. That was our only food on Friday, so we did fast, thank you! Poor hubbs was starving by the time I went to bed. We had a lovely, lazy day. Saturday was more of the same, with our HEB snackies. (I kinda wanted to call it a 'tomb' day. Hehe)
Round 1 of snackies
Round 2
Round 3
I didn't get a pic of round 4, but it was 2 Flatbread pizzas. One BBQ chicken and one basil pesto Mediterranean. So good!

Sunday was Easter! He is Risen! I went to Mass and then hubbs went to work, so I had my tarragon chicken salad from HEB and the kitty and I cleaned. Well, I cleaned, he supervised. I did check on my plants
I'm gonna have peppers
Dunno what kind of peppers tho
And tomatillos
It didn't die!

So I hope all of you are doing well, that your plants are thriving, your kitties are happy and playful, and your significant others are as patient and loving as mine. 😁 hugs and Easter blessings to you all, and all my love!! 🥰😘 MUAH!
