Bestie Weekend!

It was a normal week at work. Nothing earth shattering happened. Now, the weekend, that was more fun! 

Lunch for the week: baked potato with pinto beans, pulled pork, bbq sauce, cheese, and green onions. Sooo yummy.

We had some cuddles, then he very pointedly ignored me. Sigh. I slept great, tho.

Friday I had a dentist appt. Just a routine cleaning again. Sigh... stupid gums aren't healing properly, apparently. Bestie came in around noon ish, and shenanigans ensued. We had margaritas and then wandered around downtown burleson.

Day 2 we went to the farmers market downtown, then came home and made bestie watch all of Spaceballs! Hehe.

We ended up making it an 80s movie marathon day with papa murphys. Ace seemed to enjoy it with us... Sacked out on me in many different degrees of comfiness.

Sunday bestie went home, hubby went to work, and I did my usual prep for the week. Meals, cleaning, laundry, all the usual stuffs. 

It was very nice having a lazy weekend with the bestie and the hubbster. We got some one on one time at the market and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I got some new earrings and some sourdough yummiest, she got some fun rings and such. We got some bestie therapy, which is never something to sneeze at. We also talked about our planned river time in july/Aug. How dare she live so damn far away! We need to do this WAY more often. Hehe. 

So I hope all of you are having a good day, stay hydrated, and if you are lucky enough to live in the same town as your bestie, meet up for a meal and a hug! It does the soul good.
