There are 2 kinds of people in the world... those who are excited by snow, and those who are not excited by snow. I count myself in the latter. I can enjoy how pretty it is, I can say things like 'winter wonderland' and be sincere, but most of me is just happy that I don't have to shovel the crap. Others take care of that, and while I've not really seen a snow plow of sorts in Korea, they certainly have something to handle the main roads, at least. As for me, I layered, I walked, I missed my down jacket (it's a Dolphins jacket and I feel a right twit wearing it anywhere outside the states), I was cold, I got frost in my eyelashes, but most importantly I survived.
The view from Salady the day after the snow storm. As you can see, it's sunny but it's not exactly warm. It hasn't been above freezing for DAYS.My layering. What you see here are 2 layers on bottom and 4 on top, including the muppet sweater which is horrible, but warm. I'm also wearing my hat, scarf, and gloves. I'm mostly including this pic because I love my eyes in it - hehehe... green eyed devil.
And this is sans 1 layer of me at work. Still muppet, but I like my hair and smile here. I'm apparently going to be teaching in my classroom from Monday (don't ask) where it's colder than my sauna (small room, good heater). So this may become something that I keep at work. It's supposed to warm up to above freezing as of Tuesday, so let's hope that's really a thing. I'd be happy to see the snow melt and go back to the abyss where it belongs. Of course, then it does sometimes come back... sigh.
It was another lazy weekend for me - call me crazy but when it's colder than Hell outside, I don't really want to go anywhere or do anything. I am venturing out today to get groceries, but nothing too crazy. Here's to week 8 of the countdown, friends!
